Welcome to Portland’s East End

Our bright, eco-friendly apartment sits on a quiet street in Portland's trendy East End. It offers modern style amenities, master suite w/ heated bath floor, in-unit laundry, hardwood floors, efficient heat/AC, well-appointed kitchen, two decks, and 1 off-street parking space with plenty of free street parking nearby. The apartment is walkable to the waterfront, downtown, and many locally owned restaurants, bars, boutique shopping, fitness studios, and grocery stores.

We’ve chosen many of the furnishing and products with your health and wellness in mind. We offer non-toxic bedding, bath, cleaning and cooking supplies. The apartment is pet-free, has air purifiers on each floor, and a tabletop filter for drinking water. See more about our wellness amenities listed on our homepage.

Please read all the information on this page before booking. We try to very accurately and thoroughly describe our space to help ensure no surprises and help you decide if this is the right place for you.

THE KITCHEN
Guests enter into the first floor kitchen, dining area. There is a table with six chairs. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. We offer both safer non-stick pots and pans as well as stainless steel and one cast iron skillet. Plates, bowls, cups, and mugs are glass. There is a Vitamix blender, coffee maker, glass french press, microwave, Clearly Filtered water pitcher, and toaster oven.

THE FIRST FLOOR
From the kitchen, guests enter the first floor living room with TV. We offer an Apple TV for logging in to your own apps and we pay for YoutubeTV for you to watch live TV. Off the living room is a full bathroom with walk-in shower, a small laundry closet with washer and dryer, and the first floor bedroom. On the shelves in the first floor bath you’ll find an infant Guava Lotus Travel crib and a toddler size Shrunks inflatable mattress for kiddos. Note: We do not have baby gates. The first floor king bedroom has a desk, closet, dresser, and two windows with darkening shades which let in lots of light when open. It's on the street side, but it's very quiet at night. The bed is soft with 100% cotton sheets and hypoallergenic pillow covers.

THE SECOND FLOOR
Back through the kitchen, open the barn door at the top of the stairs on the second floor into the spacious master suite with memory foam king bed, 100% cotton sheets and hypoallergenic pillow covers, closet, make up dresser, and its own bathroom with walk-in shower and heated floor tile. The room has darkening shades. There is a door that leads to the second floor deck at the top of the stairs. Note that these stairs are quite steep.

The 1st floor deck at the entrance has seating for 2-3 people and the 2nd floor deck has room to lay out a yoga mat and a table that cozily seats four. You can see the ocean, city skyline, and even a lighthouse from this second floor deck.

THE BASEMENT
Downstairs is a semi-finished, basement in case you need an extra bedroom or second hang out spot. Note: The floor is painted concrete and walls have spray foam insulation but no do not have sheetrock on them. It will be darker than the rest of the apartment and being that this is coastal Maine, you may see a few ants here and there in the spring or in wet weather. There is a sump pump and dehumidifier to keep it dry. No bathroom on this level. You'll find a TV room with some basic workout gear. Off this room is a small bedroom with a queen bed and dresser. This bedroom has a darkening shade on the window.

Note, this is a basement and may be more humid in summer than the top two floors. It doesn't get a ton of natural light. The bedroom has a heater to keep it cozy in winter months. We add an AC unit in the summer, but it stays pretty cool even in hot weather. The stairs are steep.

PARKING

One off-street parking space is provided (requires backing into the street). There is plenty of free street parking in the area.

THINGS TO NOTE

  • The entrance to this unit is from the back of the property, next to the parking space. The front entrance is for our long-term tenants only.

  • There is another unit in the building and there can be noise transfer between floors.

  • The bedrooms are on three different levels and the stairs are steep.

  • Third bedroom is in the basement & there is no bathroom on this floor

  • There is no bathtub.

  • This unit has private access to the bottom two floor decks. The top deck seen in the aerial shots goes with the top unit.

  • We do not have baby gates.
